Project 623-02-101, PROVIDE A/E SERVICES FOR REMODEL PHARMACY FOR OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY, BLDG. 1, at the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, 1011 Honor Heights Drive, Muskogee, Oklahoma 74401.=20 Request for Quotation (RFP) 623-01-02 is issued for the following requirement: A/E firm to provide all required labor, materials and equipment to develop construction documents to include contract drawings, specifications, and site investigations, for the development of contract documents, construction period services and site visits for the renovation of 3700 square feet of the outpatient pharmacy area of building 1. The project will reconfigure workspace to support pharmacy automation, improve delivery of prescriptions, provide patient education rooms and waiting space. Provide drawings of modular casework to replace existing shelving, replace ceilings, lighting, flooring and wall surfaces. Upgrade electrical and mechanical systems to support the remodeling. A/E to develop all demolition (to include identifying all latent site conditions), architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and fire protection drawings and specifications for these disciplines. A/E to provide detailed construction estimate as required. A/E firm shall comply with NFPA,NEC, Life Safety Codes, VA design criteria, construction standards and other required regulations for the development of these documents. Time of completion is 120 days. A/E firms must submit SF 254=92s and SF 255=92s no later than November 23, 2001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541310, and the size standard is 4 million. The government shall not accept faxed documents. The solicitation number (RFP number) shall be listed on the outside of your response. Number Note 24 applies. Emerging Small Business Set-aside.
