Description

Provide architect-engineer services necessary to furnish schamtic design development, working drawings and specifications, site visits, cost estimates and related work for Project No. 515-02-101, Replace/Consolidate Building 2 Chiller, Phase II. Work to include, but is not limited to, (1) new 200 ton chiller and all related equipment and wiring, (2) modify existing chilled water loop consisting of 2-80 ton chillers and pumps, 1-100 ton chiller and pumps and 1-200 ton chiller and pumps to provide the most energy efficient operation through the existing energy management system, (3) remove and relocate existing heat exchanges (evaluate condition of units for replacement) located in attic to the ground floor mechanical room. Remove existing hot water tank and repipe heat exchangers, (4) design supply and return HVAC for Audiology and Speech Pathology Service (this is presently a DX system), (5) replace 1st floor office unit (this unit is presently a chill water system), and redesign of the first floor room and adjacent rooms to allow ample room for replacement unit. This project will also include removal of DX units, extending the chill water to new units, providing supply and return ductwork and grills, vav boxes and extending the existing energy management system. The construction estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Interested firms must submit two copuies of SF 254, A/E and Related Services Questionnaire and two copies of SF 255, A/E Questionnaire for Specific Project, no later than September 17, 2001, 4:30 p.m., local time.
