Description

The National Park Service has a requirement for cataloging 140 linear feet of paper and photographic records into the Automated National Catalog System Plus (ANCS+). The RFQ for the project will be available on or about August 10, 2001. The services will be perform at the Ellis Island Immigration Museum located in Jesrey City, NJ. The services required includes reviewing archival objects, writing a survey summary report, ordering supplies, processing materials for storage, listing objects which need conservation treatment, arranging the collections, describing the collections, creating and indexing folders lists, providing photo copies of some of the objects, creating finding aids, and cataloging the collections in accordance with NPS guidelines. These services will start on or about October 1, 2001. NOTE: Award from the RFQ will be based on the best value, not necessary the lowest price, that will be most advantageous to the government.
