Description

The Asheville VA Medical Center, Asheville, North Carolina has a requirement for Anesthesiology and Certified Nurse Anesthetist(CRNA) services for an estimated 4160 hours and 6240 respectively to augment the existing medical center staffing. Range of anesthesia services to be provided include: Cardiothoracic surgery, Vascular, Othopedic, Genitourinary, General surgery, Ear, Nose and Throat, Neurosurgical, Plastic surgery, insertion of invasive monitoring lines-arterial, central venous and PA catheters, providing professional direction to the CRNAs and technicians, post-operative patient management in intensive care units, conscience sedation training and podiatric surgery. The services shall be provided 24 hours per day, seven days per week coverage to provide for all emergency procedures to include urgent cases outside normal work hours and being on emergency call. Physicians must be Board Eligble or Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology or American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology. CRNAs must have professional training including nurse anesthesia school, National certification, professional work experience, and ACLS and BCLS certification. The contract will be for one base year plus fur one year option periods. The NAICS code is 621111. This is solicitation is solicited as unrestricted.
