Description

This solicitation is issued as a Commercial Item Acquisition under the guidelines of FAR Subpart 12. The V.A. North Texas Healthcare System , 4500 S Lancaster Road, Dallas, TX 75216 Has a requirement for (1) full-time Locum tenens CRNA. The CRNA should be proficient in providing general, vascular orthopedic, plastic, And ophthmalgic anesthesia. The CRNA should have at least (five) years of experience. The CRNA will be responsible for pre-anesthetic evaluation and preparation, anesthesia Induction, maintenance, emergencies, and post-anesthetic care. The CRNA must be familiar With the following: peripheral venous catheterization, arterial catheterization, bier blocks, Epidural blocks, fiberoptic intubation, axillary brachial plexus blocks, and placement of Central venous catheter. The CRNA will work 40 hours per week (7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) Monday through Friday. There will be some overtime required, and some on-call. Services Shall be provided starting on or about 6-1-2001 through 8-31-2001 with an option period (9-1-2001 through 9-30-2001) The solicitation number is RFQ-549-1-137 Issue date May 18, 2001 and the solicitation Due date is May 25, 2001.
