The National Park Service, Golden Gate National Recreation Area has identified a requirement for a contractor to perform on-site transcription of descriptive information on an estimated 30,000 photograph enclosures in the Park's classified photograph collection under the direction of the San Francisco Maritime Museum's Historic Documents Department photo archivist. The contractor will enter information in the National Park System's Automated National Catalog System (ANCS+) Archives Module. Technical Proposals for this request for Quotation will be evaluated on the following Section Criteria: A) EXPERIENCE: 1) Demonstrated successful experience in identifying, describing, and housing archival collections as an archivist or archival technician, especially diverse collections of maritime photographs. 2) Demonstrated successful experience in using the new National Park Service Automated National Catalog System (ANCS+) for computerized entry of archival catalog records. B) PAST PERFORMANCE: 1) The offeror shall demonstrate successful performance on the same or similar type services within the last three (3) years. 2) The Offeror shall demonstrate past performance by inclusion of dates, locations, customers, points of contact and award amount.
