(a) Provide: Cataloging Services utilizing the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) database and the Smithsonian Institution Libraries (SIL) Online Catalog. Cataloging must be of a professional quality using the Library of Congress (LC) classification and current subject heading and the Anglo-American Cataloging Rules. Location is primarily contractor's facility with some work being done at the SIL site in Washington DC. (b) Provide: Cataloging Support Services to include editing Bibliographic, Copy Holdings, MARC Holdings, and Item records of the SIL online catalog. Reclassing items from Dewey to LC, from LC-type BAE (Bureau of American Ethonology) call numbers, barcoding items, reshelving materials, etc. These activities will take place at one of the central cataloging units or SIL's branch libraries located in Washington DC metro area.
