R -- REGISTERED RECORD ADMINISTRATOR POC John W. Fogarty, 215/823-5872 The Philadelphia VA Medical Center has a requirement for interim Registered Record Administrator (RRA) services. Qualifications include Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Record Administration/Health Information Management and RRA credentials. RRA must have experience in planning, developing and directing a medical records program for a health care facility that meets both institutional goals and standards of accrediting agencies (i.e., JCAHO), and evaluating and analyzing the organization and operation of medical record services, including medical records and indexes, and recommending and/or implementing appropriate program revisions and modifications. Vendors or individuals with the capability to provide interim RRA services are invited to submit in writing, sufficient information which demonstrates the ability to fulfill this requirement. Responses must include descriptive literature, a point of contact (name and telephone number) and if applicable, GSA Contract number and pricing. Vendors are advised that they are not restricted in what is presented in their information as long as sufficient material(s) are provided to allow proper evaluation. All responses received will be fully considered by the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. No solicitation document exists. Requests for a copy of the solicitation will be considered as a negative response.
