Jones, Contracting Officer, (410)786-5163 The Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) has a requirement for Physician and Registered Nursing Services for its Health Unit located at 7500 Security Boulevard, Baltimore, Maryland. The contractor shall provide professional occupational health services and administrative/management services necessary to provide coverage in the health unit during normal working hours. Physician and Nursing services include, but are not limited to, overseeing the allergy program, emergency cardiac care, and some aspects of health assessments. The health unit services approximately 2,600 employees. Services shall be performed in accordance with 5 USC 7901, 5 USC 751, and 5 USC 150, Health Services Administration Guide for Federal Occupational Health Units. Contractors may propose to provide either the physician services, or the nursing services, or both. The government anticipates award of a firm, fixed-price contract with a base year and four (4) one-year option periods. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards under this solicitation. Requests for the solicitation package shall reference RFP No. HCFA-98-018/DH and must be submitted in writing to Debra Hoffman at mail stop C2-21-15 or fax number (410) 786-9088 within fifteen (15) calendar days of the publication of this announcement. The procurement is a total small business set-aside under SIC 8049 with a small business size standard of $5.0 million. The procurement will be conducted using FAR Part 12 procedures for procuring commercial services. Telephone requests will not be honored. The RFP is expected to be released on or about June 30, 1998.
