464-6101, ext. 5040 E-MAIL: National Park Service, Redwood National
Park, Tekla_Vines@nps.gov. In conjunction with the development of the
Whiskeytown National Recreation Area Abandoned Mineral Lands Plan,
proposals are sought for National Register of Historic Places
eligibility evaluations for the first mines (approximately 10 -- 20

within the Whiskeytown NRA is extensive, the remains of most mining
operations are relatively sparse. Eligibility and evaluations will be
based on both archival and field research. Basic data is found in
"Historic Resource Study, Whiskeytown National Recreation Area,
California" (Toogood 1978). Proposed contract listed here provides for
a 100% small business set-aside. A limited number of solicitation
packages will be available approximately late June on a first-come,
first-served basis until supply is exhausted. There will be no charge
for the solicitation package, however only one copy will be furnished
to each requesting party. Planholders lists will not be faxed.
Interested parties should request a solicitation package in writing to
the Contracting Office at Redwood National Park, or fax it to (707)
