Q -- REGISTERED NURSES POC David Orris, Contracting Officer, (301)619-3017 The Navy has a requirement to modify Contract N62645-96-C-0073 for extended Registered Nurse services in the following wards: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Coronary Care Unit (CCU), and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda from 01 October 1997 through 31 December 1997. A total of 637 twelve-hour shifts (for ICU and CCU) and 429 eight-hour shifts (for NICU and PACU) are required during this period. This contract modification will also include two three-month option periods to provide the aforementioned services from 1 January 1998 through 30 June 1998 if necessary. The Navy intends to negotiate with Maryland Professional Staffing Services, 7960 Old Georgetown Rd, Bethesda, MD 20814 as the only source. See Notes 22 and 26.
