C -- DESIGN INSTALLATION OF NEW EMERGENCY GENERATOR AT THE VA MEDICAL FACILITY, BROOKLYN, NEW YORK SOL 527-15-97 DUE 122896 POC Mrs. Jo Ann Petrillo, Contract Specialist, 718 630-3566 Furnish professional A/E and related technical services to design the installation of a new emergency generator at the Veterans Administration Medical Facility located in Brooklyn, New York. Design includes all mechanical, electrical, structural systems to install emergency generator and enclosure; determination of design loads, assessment and evaluation of the existing electrical and emergency power system and determine requirements to handle future loads during a complete power outage; installation of emergency generator in masonry enclosure; installation of new underground storage tank; installation of new electric ductbank from existing feeder closets to new generator; installation of automatic transfer switch, underground tank monitoring systems; provide construction phase services. The completion time for all services will be one hundred twenty calendar days after award of contract. All responsible sources are invited to submit SF 254 and SF 255, in duplicate, to the contracting officer at the address shown above by the closing date of December 28, 1996.
