Park is soliciting and pricing info for three PC (personal computer)
type cash registers for networked fee collection/reservation system.
Cash registers must have on-screen computer readout of tour and
transaction information; must be compatible with the network
file-server and system software (UNIX operating system); must be
capable of printing transaction receipts/tickets and accounting
reports; capable of processing credit car purchases; must have cashier
access codes and lockouts and have a secure cash drawer. In the event
of general failure of the reservation/ticketing system, it will be
necessary to revert to using the existing cash registers which are TEC
Model 4450, it is essential that data be transferrable from the new
machines to the old. In the event of a problem with cash registers, we
need fast and dependable service so we are requesting that sources
provide on-site service within two hours. Sources will not be
responsible for software, ethernet cards, installation of cabling and
