The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is seeking sources to provide a service to accomplish the cataloging and scanning of approximately 12,000 ''D'' and ''E'' size paper and Mylar drawing originals onto CDROM media. The scope of work shall include the following tasks: 1) Cataloging the existing drawings and enter into an ORACLE database; 2) Scan the cataloged drawings onto 5-1/2'' CDROMs using the ISO-9660 Standard format; and 3) Index and provide a content listing of each CDROM by drawing number. All interested parties are requested to submit description brochures, references, and other relevant information within twenty-one (21) calendar days of the date of this notice to Bob Nelson's attention. The Government will not be obligated to pay for information generated as a result of this request. This is not for competitive proposals.
