all labor to inventory artifacts, enter the data into the Regis
database, and catalog designated artifacts as undocumented. Two backups
of catalog records; one in ASCII on 3.5'' disks and one on tape.
Contact prints and negatives placed in binders. Film, prints, boxes,
crates, acid free tissue/boxes and office/storage supplies, etc., to be
supplied by contract as required. Work shall be completed between
8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, except federal holidays.
Cataloging and storage of designated artifacts shall be performed in
accordance with American Association of Museum (AAM) guidelines.
Conservation of at least 44 artifacts will be performed in accordance
with museum guidelines. Contractor must have a minimum 3 years
experience working with museum collections, be familiar with Chenhall's
Nomenclature, and experience recognizing conservation needs.
Qualifications and references must be submitted with contractor's
proposal. Performance of contract estimated for 15,000 artifacts at the
Treasure Island Museum, Treasure Island Naval Station, San Francisco,
CA. Site visit to be scheduled. Delivery of Item 0001 within four
months of award, Item 0002 within eight months of award, Item 0003
within 12 months of award. Unrestricted under SIC code 8412. All
responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. When
requesting the Solicitation, prospective offeror shall provide CAGE
