S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, Madison,WI. The Contractor shall provide the services of staff respiratory therapist, five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday, eight (8) hours per day, 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. for one week of the pay period and the services of respiratory therapist performing polysomnographic studies four (4) days per week, Tuesday through Friday, ten (10) hours per day, 9 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. the opposite week of the pay period. The respiratory therapist must have experience in an acute care setting and be skilled in medication administration, mechanical ventilators, oxygen therapy, performing treatments and procedures such as nasal and oropharyngeal suction, ABG sampling, CPT, IPPB, CPAP, and must have a general knowledge of sleep disorder testing. The contract is for a twelve (12) month period with options to renew for two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods. Bid documents will be available on or about March 9, 1995.
