- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Omaha District intends to determine the extent of capable small businesses and other than small business firms that have the availability in providing the requirement described below. USACE is considering issuing a Total Small Business Set-Aside, Request for Quote, that will result in one (1) Firm Fixed-Price contract for the Fort Peck Thrust Bearing Oil Cooler and Generator Air Cooler supply purchase for Fort Peck Power Plant, McCone County, Fort Peck Montana. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332410 (Power Boiler and Heat Exchange Manufacturing). Estimated Magnitude of Construction: Between $250,000 and $500,000. PROJECT SCOPE: The general scope of work will include (but not limited to); Contractor shall design, fabricate, supply and deliver (8) generator air coolers and (2) thrust bearing oil coolers to the Fort Peck Power Plant, Fort Peck, MT. The new coolers must be manufactured to meet the size dimensions of the existing thrust bearing and generator air coolers as shown on the as-built drawings. See enclosed Sources Sought Document with the drawings and questions. Responses: Please respond to all information requested in this notice not later than 12 PM CST 05-June-2026. Please include the Sources Sought Notice Identification Number in the subject line of the email submission and send to Lynne.D.Reed@usace.army.mil and Marc.Proietto@usace.army.mil. COMMENTS: Provide comments or identify any concerns your company has regarding the planned solicitation. Note that the Government will not be responding to inquiries about the proposed solicitation at this time. Your responses and comments will be used by Government personnel to assess the viability and scope of the proposed solicitation and will be kept in strictest confidence. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
