THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. SHOULD THE GOVERNMENT SOLICIT QUOTES FOR THIS REQUIREMENT, IT WILL BE POSTED AS A SEPARATE NOTICE. The Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC) of the Michigan Air National Guard is seeking information on capable and interested sources to provide an Ordnance Deformer capable of processing 8,000-11,000 lbs/hour. To be acceptable to the government, the requirement must comply with DESR 6055.09 91-201, Edition 1, Change 1, February 23, 2024, paragraph V4.E5.18 and sub paragraphs. (see below) Ordnance Deformer, Stationary Electric - 1 EA ORDNANCE DEFORMER, STATIONARY UNIT, PROCESSES SPENT CARTRIDGES UP TO AND INCLUDING 20MM AT 8,000 TO 11,000 LBS PER HOUR DEPENDING ON SIZE AND MIX OF CARTRIDGES. INCLUDES: INFEED CONVEYOR, ELECTRIC DRIVE, INCLUDES INFEED CATCH HOPPER HIGH SPEED ROTARY DRUM GRINDER, 480V/THREE PHASE. INCLUDES HOOD, CHUTE AND SOFT START. DISCHARGE CONVEYOR, ELECTRONIC DRIVE. CONTROL PANEL AND SYSTEM INTEGRATION. Installation Set up and training. On site training/set up of equipment and calibrate system to meet government specifications. Requirement Title: Ordnance Deformer NAICS Code: 332248 - All Other Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Product/Service Code: 4250 - Recycling and Reclamation EquipmentDescription of Requirement: A DRAFT version of the Description of Requirement (DoR) is included in this notice, which may be subject to change based on market research and requirement development. Should the government solicit quotes for this requirement, a FINAL DoR will be posted with the solicitation. Submission Requirements: Interested parties are requested to submit a capability statement that demonstrates their ability to provide the specified products and services. The capability statement should include: 1. Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, and email address. 2. Company CAGE code and Unique Entity ID (UEI). 3. Business size and any socioeconomic status (e.g., Small Business, 8(a), Woman-Owned, etc.). 4. A statement confirming the ability to provide all the items and services listed in the description of the requirement. 5. Past performance information on similar projects for government or commercial clients. Response Deadline: Please submit your capability statement via email to the Contracting Officer no later that 26 May 2026 at 11:00 AM Local Time (Eastern).
