- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY) This is a Sources Sought Notice issued solely for market research purposes in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This notice is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. The Government is not requesting proposals, quotes, or bids currently. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (Bureau), Field Acquisition Office (FAO), is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing Food Waste Disposal Services for the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Victorville, California. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources. The information received will be utilized solely for market research and acquisition planning purposes. All information submitted in response to this notice is voluntary. The Government will not reimburse any costs associated with responding to this notice. A Market Research Questionnaire will be made available on or about May 18, 2026, via the System for Award Management (SAM) website at http://www.sam.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring SAM.gov for updates. The questionnaire is included with this notice. Responses to this notice shall be submitted via email to: llwheeler@bop.gov. The response deadline is June 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM Central Daylight Time (CDT). Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. This notice is issued for market research purposes only.
