- Description
- The 88th Medical Group (88 MDG) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB), Ohio, has a requirement for non-personal services to provide comprehensive preventive maintenance and on-call repair services for commercial food service equipment. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and transportation necessary to ensure the continuous operation of equipment located at the Nutritional Medicine Flight (Building 830) in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Contractor will be required to perform scheduled quarterly Preventive Maintenance (PM) and provide on-call remedial and emergency repair services (including a mandatory 4-hour on-site response time for emergencies). Technicians must possess current, relevant commercial equipment certifications (e.g., HVAC Level II, EPA 608 Universal) and a minimum of five (5) years of corporate experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair. Additionally, IAW FAR 52.223-23, replacement parts must be ENERGY STAR� or FEMP-designated to the maximum extent practicable. ACQUISITION STRATEGY: Solicitation Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Request for Quotation - RFQ) Set-Aside: 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside NAICS Code: 811310 � Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance (Size Standard: $12.5M) Source Selection: Best Value Tradeoff (Evaluating Technical Capability, Past Performance, and Price). PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The contract will consist of a 12-month Base Period and four (4) 12-month Option Periods. Base Period: 15 June 2026 � 14 June 2027 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS: This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a separate written solicitation document will not be issued.
