Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source � Continental Associates Pvt. Ltd, Kathmandu, Nepal for elevator control system upgrade goods & services. The US Embassy, Kathmandu intends to negotiate a sole source in accordance with RFO 12.102(a) for elevator control system upgrade goods & services. The Embassy operates two (2) OTIS GEN2 traction elevators (GMMS 3361 and 3362) installed in December 2005 at the Chancery building. OBO-mandated security features (T17 Night Shutdown and Capture Operations) are currently non-functional and must be restored. Additionally, the elevator control system requires upgrading to ensure continued safe and secure operations. If you are able to fulfill these requirements, please respond via email to KTMContracts@state.gov, no later than 17:00 Hrs. local time, May/22/2026.
