Description: Dears, The U.S. Department of State intends to award a contract for drone acquisition on a brand name basis. The required item is identified as Skydio X10D Drone. This procurement is being conducted under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 11.105, as only the specified brand name items will satisfy the agency�s requirements for durability, functionality, and compatibility with existing equipment. A Justification and Approval (J&A) supporting this brand name procurement has been prepared in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.305. The J&A details the rationale for restricting this acquisition to the specified brand name and is posted with this notice for public review.
