Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT This special notice serves as a notification to industry of the Government's intent to sole source the contract requirement to Pro Flight Gear LLC, 11700 W. Avra Valley Rd. Marana AZ, for Terma 3D Audio System Adaptors. Pro Flight Gear LLC is the only vendor that sells the T-Tap Adaptor Model 1003T which is compatible with existing 3D Audio Headsets and have been tested by the ANG/AFRC Test Center at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona. The ANG will use Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition. The authority for soliciting a single source under simplified acquisition procedures is RFO FAR 13.101(b) Competition, which states that contracting officers may solicit from a single source based on a determination and findings that only one source is reasonably available. The proposed contract action is Sole Source only. In accordance with FAR 5.101, the required justification documentation is attached. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit responses to this notice by 10:00 AM EST, 10 April 2026 via email to reid.blosser.1@us.af.mil and michael.mcdowell.14@us.af.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government.
