- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for non-commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 36, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and no other written solicitation will be issued. Instructions to offerors (FAR Part 36), evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR Provisions and Clauses are attached. Solicitation Number: 70Z02926QNEWO008 Type: Request for Quotation (RFQ) Set Aside: Small Business NAICS Code: 238210 Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price Construction Award Basis: Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable The evaluation factors are: - Price - Technical Acceptability - Past Performance Make sure to provide your price, technical approach, and past performance with your quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses and Department of Labor Wage Rates for Construction, are applicable to this order. Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR Part 36, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR Part 36 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes but is not limited to: in accordance with FAR Part 36, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified. Where the word ""offer/offeror"" appears, it is changed to ""quote/quoter."" Offerors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov. The U.S. Coast Guard Contractor shall complete the removal of current exterior lighting around the ANT Building, Boat House, and light poles, and install new LED marine-grade light fixtures in Venice, LA. Please see the attached Statement of Work (SOW) for full specifications. All work must be completed by a state-licensed contractor. All materials and installation shall meet or exceed applicable state codes and follow industry standards. No work is authorized without the authorization of the Contracting Officer (KO) or the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) Period of Performance: 60 days after receipt of order Location: U.S. Coast Guard Station Venice 436 Coast Guard Rd.Venice, LA 70091 Contracting Officer's Representative (COR): MK1 Ricky Gonzales will schedule all site visits and supervise this work.
