- SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions. The following is attached for you to complete and review: 1.) Quote 2.) Reps & Certs 3.) FP Commercial Supplies-Services T&C�s ( August 2023 ) 4.) Buy American Act (BAA) Requested for Quote: TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS LISTED BELOW: Tangential slope error: less than 0.5 ?rad RMS, measured by a 3D profilometer with a sampling pitch of 1 mm after applying a Gaussian low-pass filter with ? = 1 mm. Sagittal slope error: less than 3 ?rad RMS, evaluated under the same 3D profilometer conditions. Residual height error: less than 3 nm RMS, measured by a 3D profilometer. Evaluation note: these form errors are evaluated after subtraction of the best-fit Wolter. Surface roughness: less than 1 nm RMS, measured by WLI with a field of view of 1 � 1 mm�. Surface roughness: less than 0.3 nm RMS, measured by WLI with a field of view of 0.1 � 0.1 mm�. Substrate material: Si(100). Coating: Au, 50 � 10 nm. Binder: Cr, 5-10 nm. S/D: 20 ?m / 500 ?m (No Haze). Chamfer: C0.5 on all edges. Squareness and parallelism: 0.5?. If the design of the mirror satisfies the required specifications Proven track record of design and fabrication of high-quality soft X-ray nano-focusing Wolter mirror at 100-500 nm leveL If the mirror can be fabricated and delivered to SLAC with a lead time of 27 weeks. Required item(s) are listed below: Soft X-ray free electron laser nano-focusing mirror � qty 1 Quote is for product only; no on-site services permitted. Source selection will be based on Lowest Priced Method and best Lead-Time. Please provide a price and lead time quotation by 3/30/2026 Send quote to Jhamieb@SLAC.stanford.edu. Please be advised that the requirement was also posted in SAM.gov. Is there any room for additional discount such as for Academic, ICPT, GSA, or Government Institutions? Buy American Act Certification (BAA) applies to awards over $15,000 unit price. Representations & Certifications Rider is required. Once completed the Reps and Certs is valid for one year until renewal. If you have already completed one within the year please disregard. Otherwise, please complete and return. Please include in your proposals the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS Code) if applicable. All subcontractors are required to register in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov). If possible, please provide a link to your webpage for published price list to substantiate for the prices quoted. The resulting purchase order will be issued on a fixed price basis. SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory Terms and Conditions for Fixed Price Commercial Supplies and Services (Rev. August 2023) will be made a part of the resulting order. Please mark up terms and conditions if you wish to negotiate. No mark ups mean that you accept SLAC Terms and Conditions.
