Description

Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD, hereby gives notice of intent to award a purchase order to Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation., (Cage Code: 01378), on a sole source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, FAR 6.103-1(b), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The purchase order is expected to include a six month period of performance. FRC Solomons has a requirement for inspection, repair, and calibration of five X-Ray Apparatus. Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation., (Cage Code: 01378) is the OEM for the X-Ray Apparatus, including replacement parts. Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation, based in New York, is the only known source for the required services. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be reviewed. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
