- Solicitation CLIN 0001 Level 1 is an item that supports either a SUBSAFE or Level 1 system that has undergone the extreme material control or quality assurance techniques that provide objective evidence of its acceptance for its appropriate application. Each item has certification papers (or special markings that provide traceability to the certification) that pedigree its material and physical properties, provide traceability, to manufacturer, contract list and lot, and document quality assurance system and test requirements applied to the item. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 333618, Ball and Roller Bearing Manufacturing with a size standard of 1,250. The Product Service Code is 2010, Machinery & Components. The solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2024-01 and DFARS Change Notice 01/22/2024. The assemblies are to be shipped to the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia 23709. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333618. This procurement is set-aside for small businesses only. For boxes that weigh over 40lbs, the material must be palletized when arriving at Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
