- This Pre-Solicitation Notice is ONLY A NOTIFICATION that a solicitation is anticipated and forthcoming. All questions regarding this Pre-Solicitation should be submitted in writing via email to Brantley Dowell at the email indicated at the bottom of this page. OVERVIEW: Howard A. Hansan Dam need of emergency powerline repair from Poles #62 - #68. A powerline was disconnected at Pole #62 and needs to be reattached. Ground wire will need to be reconnected and restrung as well from Pole #62 - #68. At this time no fuses appear to be blown. SOLICITATION: A soliciation will be sent out to any interested party. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All contractors proposing on Department of Defense (DoD) solicitations must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. The purpose of this database is to provide basic business information and capabilities to the Government. The SAM website can be accessed at https://sam.gov. Contractors are encouraged to register as soon as possible. All new contracts can be made ONLY to contractors who are registered in SAM. This requirement applies to all DoD contract awards.
