Description

NASA had decoupled the Space Exploration Networks Services and Evolution (SENSE) follow-on procurement into two different, but related procurement as follows: 1) The Space Exploration Network Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (SENOMS) requirements to procure a contract for Operations, Maintenance and Sustainment of the Near Space Network (NSN). 2) The SENCID requirements to procure contracts for the development/implementation of new efforts for the NSN and other government projects seeking to build a catalog of providers for each of the implementation category. This notice serves official notification that the acquisition planning activities related to SENCID has ceased; and at this time, those requirements will not be pursued. The SENOMS planning activities are continuing; however, NASA is reassessing those requirements in an effort to find further efficiencies that will improve NASA�s operations of its networks. The responses received from all interested parties provided NASA with greater insight on capabilities, ideas, and information. NASA appreciates industry�s time and effort in pursuit of the SENCID requirements.
