Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract, and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is prescribed by 38 U.S.C. 8127(b). The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 22, Network Contracting Office 22 (NCO 22) in Long Beach, CA, intends to issue a five year (one 12-month base year; and four 12 month option years); firm fixed prices; sole source award contract to Minburn Technology Group. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating the ability to provide the requested services, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested vendors must respond to this notice on or before June 11, 2025, at 11:00 am Pacific Time by sending an email to dyne.kim@va.gov. NAICS Code: 513210 Museums primarily engaged in reselling packaged software without publishing are classified in Sector 42 Wholesale Trade or Sector 44 45 Retail Trade. Background: DSS Pyxis IV Prep Software provides the interfacing capabilities of providing straightforward communication between VistA and automation equipment. It is necessary in order for equipment to be able to receive information and communicate with VA facility technology. DSS Pyxis IV Prep Software / Rx Framework is the only interface with ability to have order information able to be transmitted to BD IV Prep and can therefore utilize the equipment labels rather than generating separate VistA labels. It allows for streamlined usage of equipment rather than requiring workaround that PADE interface may require. Additional and missing doses are also able to be queued directed to the equipment which is not possible with PADE. Objectives: VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) is requesting purchase of DSS Pyxis IV Prep Software System Support for/on existing proprietary Rx Framework Pyxis IV Prep Hardware System to communicate with VistA in dispensing prescription medication at VAGLAHCS.
