- Special Notice N0016425SNB66 Agency: Department of the Navy Office: Naval Sea Systems Command Location: NSWC Crane Division Classification Code: AC13 � National Defense R&D Services; Department of Defense � Military; Experimental Development NAICS Code: 541715 - Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology) Response Due Date: 09 July 2025 Request for Solutions: Holloman High Speed Test Track (HHSTT) Project No. 25-03 PURPOSE This Special Notice is issued to provide awareness of the release of a Request for Solutions (RFS) for an other transaction project in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 4022. The RFS title Holloman High Speed Test Track (HHSTT) has been issued as part of the Strategic & Spectrum Missions Advanced Resilient Trust Systems (S2MARTS) consortium managed by National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL) and administered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division. BACKGROUND AND SUMMARY Other Transaction Consortium Vendors interested in responding to this RFS must be members of the Strategic & Spectrum Missions Advanced Resilient Trusted Systems (S2MARTS). Interested parties may visit S2MARTS.org for membership information. PROJECT OVERVIEW The Holloman High-Speed Test Track (HHSTT) needs innovative solutions to limit damage to existing support structures and improve braking capabilities, to support the development of hypersonic systems (offensive and defensive). The HHSTT prototyping efforts will seek to identify technologies and solutions, which may be ARP 53.OT-10 JUN 2024 used to retain or improve the track strength, minimize maintenance procedures, minimize cost, improve the current capabilities, and provide valuable hands-on experience to the next generation of scientists and engineers.
