Description
The purpose of this notice is to inform interested parties that Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue on a limited competition basis an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the procurement of Hascall-Denke brand name vehicular and banded antennas in support of the Radio Integration System Family of Systems between the Original Equipment Manufacturer and their authorized resellers. Its anticipated that this will be a Firm Fixed-Price contract. Only the Hascall-Denke vehicular and banded antennas meet the unique combination of requirements for performance, frequency range, and interoperability and have passed testing. Hascall-Denke vehicular and banded antennas are currently integrated in the RIS platforms, have been previously procured, and have successfully passed testing. The Hascall-Denke vehicular antennas are designed to give radio operators flexibility in congested and contested radio frequency environments, as well as cover ultra-high frequency L and S bands. The Hascall-Denke banded antennas are optimized specifically for the TSM-X waveform, maximizing reliable throughput and extended range. The Hascall-Denke vehicular and banded antennas have been validated by USSOCOM during system design reviews and are used for Fourth Generation Long Term Evolution and Mobile Ad-Hoc Networking communications in RIS transit cases and interface with the tactical radios integrated in the RIS and fielded with SOF. The Hascall-Denke brand name vehicular and banded antennas are constructed from corrosion resistant material for reliability in harsh environments and designed to meet MIL-STD-810. No other vehicular and banded antennas can meet the unique combination of requirements and have passed testing. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Responses by phone or fax will not be accepted. The Government will not pay for any information received.
