INVITATION TO SUBMIT PROPOSAL You are invited to submit a proposal for the items specified in this Request for Proposal (RFP), by theprovisions contained herein, and the terms and conditions of the proposed firm fixed price subcontractentered into as a result of this solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codefor this solicitation is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small businesssize standard for this NAICS code is $45.0 Million.3.PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING/SITE VISITA Pre-Proposal Meeting and Site Visit is scheduled for May 20 at 10:00 am at the Wilson HallWest Lobby Entrance. The meeting provides an opportunity to discuss and clarify the RFP. However,nothing said or represented in the meeting shall be deemed to modify RFP requirements unless followedby a written amendment. Offerors are requested to submit questions relative to the RFP in advance ofthe meeting so the Procurement Specialist may prepare responses. Offerors� participation at thismeeting is strongly recommended.Except for those already having a Fermilab Access badge, anyone attending the Pre-Proposal Meetingand Site Visit must fill out an Access Request form (see link below) at least seven (7) days before thescheduled date and preferably be a U.S. Citizen. On-site access approvals are dependent on citizenshipstatus and the location(s) being visited. If the Driver�s License is not Real ID compliant, one of the appropriate REAL ID documents (https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/identification) is required. SCOPE OF WORK Worksite Access � The work for this project will take place on the 2nd floor of the Cross Gallery Southwest Annex accessible via a steel staircase on the exterior and a conventional staircase on the interior. There is no elevator. Materials, tools and supplies for both the work and disposal will need to be transported to and from the worksite via either staircase. Furniture and partitions � This project will require the Sub-contractor to disassemble, cover, and/or move, various pieces of furniture and partitions within the workspace to accommodate the scope. Examples include but are not limited to full or partially full print cabinets, empty desks and full, partially full or empty upright shelving. Patch and paint � Materials requiring paint include, but may not be limited to: concrete, wood and metal. Sub-contractor responsible for providing the appropriate paint type for the materials identified either in this scope or during the discovery phase of the project. � Tape off and protect any furnishings, recepticals, switches, wall plates, emergency and exit lights, and light fixtures to protect from prep work dust and debris and paint spatters � Provide building standard low VOC paint � Patch & paint in SW202, SW204, SW206, SW210 o Color Benjamin Moore Parchment, Finish in Eggshell ? Drywall Walls ? Wire molding ? Wall mounted passive transfer, supply and return vents ? Approximately 35 linear feet of fixed shelving o Color Benjamin Moore Parchment, Finish in Satin ? Prime and paint approximately 113 feet of Exposed ductwork, including supply vents o Color Benjamin Moore Parchment, Finish in Flat ? Concrete walls o Color Benjamin Moore Black, Finish in Satin ? Wall plates at base of walls o Color Benjamin Moore NAL Blue, Finish in Satin ? 12 interior window frames ? 4 interior doors, door frames and door lite frames Statement of Work 01.06.2025 Infrastructure Services Division SOW TEMPLATE 04.24.2023 Door Replacement � Exterior door, SW204 o Remove existing exterior door, frame, closer, drip cap, weatherstrip kit, threshold, sweep, panic hardware and door handle o Install new: ? Galvanized HM door frame, and door with stainless steel, non-removable pin hinges. Match existing rating. Include door light glass to match existing dimensions. ? HD parallel arm LCN closer with 90 deg. Stop ? Von Duprin panic bar, constant function (non-�doggable�) and lever handle compatable with schlage lockset. FermiForward locksmith will key lockset. ? Threshold and neoprene door sweep ? Weatherseal kit ? Drip cap o Prime all exposed metal and provide 2 coats of finish � Benjamin Moore NAL Blue. Flooring � Sub-contractor responsible for taking independant measurements resulting in appropriate quantities of materials and supplies � Remove approximately 588 SF of existing carpet � Install approximately 1,493 SF of sub-contractor provided Interface Basalt carpet tiles. Secure with corner adhesive tabs. Pipe Insulation � Remove and replace two (2) sections of soiled pipe insulation, totaling approximately 76 linear feet, in SW-206. This insulation has tested negative for asbestos containing materials. Clean up � Sub-contractor to remove construction debris periodically as needed to maintain safety and at the completion of the project.
