- Description
- The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is conducting market research to understand the level of maturity of U.S. and allied nation vessel designs that can support future Domestic Icebreaker (DOMICE) acquisition efforts, specifically for DOMICE-Medium (DOMICE-M) and DOMICE-Light (DOMICE-L) vessels. The USCG is also seeking information from the U.S. shipbuilding industrial base to gain insight on the current capability, capacity, and availability of domestic shipyards to produce existing or production-ready icebreaking capable vessels.
