Description
No solicitation exists currently. This is a Sources Sought Notice to help locate potential sources that may be interested in this requirement and is being used as a means of market research for planning purposes only. This is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals nor quotes and shall not obligate the government to award a contract. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is to conduct market research to obtain knowledge of potential qualified offerors interested and capable of providing On-Site Inpatient Dialysis Registered Nursing Services with the ability to meet the requirements of a resulting solicitation with this North American Classification System (NAICS) Code 621492 (Kidney Dialysis Centers) with a size standard of $47.0 million or less, at the Charles George Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) located in Asheville, NC. The estimated Period of Performance is October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026, with four (4) one-year options to be exercised at the Government s discretion. It has been determined that any (potential sources) shall provide properly trained and qualified Registered Nurses (RN s) appropriately licensed in the state of North Carolina capable of providing the above services must demonstrate their experience and knowledge of the required services and their capabilities to provide such services required to meet the following: The acceptable response time is contingent upon the urgency of the need as determined by the ordering physician: a) within two (2) hours of Emergent services; b) within four (4) hours for Immediate services; and c) within twelve (12) hours for chronic, routine hemodialysis treatments. Potential offerors shall be required to supply the following: Commercially available dialysis solutions ordered for hemodialysis Tubing Sets required for Contractor provided equipment One Dialyzer to be included in the per treatment fee All Filters required for Contractor provided equipment including Transducer Protectors and filters Fistula Needles Water Quality Analysis Supplies Potential sources who are interested and capable of providing the above services must demonstrate their experience and knowledge of the required services and their capability to provide such services. Potential sources should identify business name, point of contact, business size and business socio-economic category (i.e. Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), 8(a), Hub Zone, Women Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, etc.), service capability statement, information from recent and relevant projects similar in nature, SAM Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number, company address and any additional information felt to be pertinent. Responses to this Sources Sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions to enable maximum competition. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought Announcement, a solicitation announcement may be published at SAM.gov | Contract Opportunities website. Responses to this Sources Sought Announcement are not considered adequate responses for any solicitation announcement that may result from this notice. Interested offerors should respond to this Sources Sought announcement and to any resulting solicitation for this requirement. Responses to this notice should be limited to five (5) pages be in PDF or Word format and send via email to Karen.Crowe@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 am (EDST), May 15, 2025. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. NOTE: Businesses must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and SDVOSBs and VOSBs must be registered with the Small Business Administration (SBA). Please limit submission to five (5) pages.
