- Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Acquisitions Branch intends to award a Firm Fixed Priced award to Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), Inc. for membership services for the purpose of aiding in the process of improving the reliability and efficiency of power generation. This membership in particular covers the following three (3) critiacl programs: 224 - Integrated Asset Management, 225 - Plant Management Essentials, and 228 - Monitoring and Advanced Data Analytics. EPRI�s membership will also enable Reclamation the ability to: � Access to over 200+ other related proprietary intellectual projects and their highly sought Preventative Maintenance Basis Database services. � Provides methods, alternatives, and cost analysis for informed business decisions. � Access to EPRI technical staff to facilitate the transition from time-based maintenance to data-informed inspections and maintenance. � Resources from this association support the development of a machine condition monitoring platform, enabling real-time machine learning and reducing investigative efforts tied to equipment outages. � Collaborate with advanced utilities and technical organizations to share valuable lessons and software, alongside other projects, provides methods, alternatives, and cost analysis for informed business decisions. The intended procurement is classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 813920 - Professional Organizations. The determination not to compete this proposed Order was made pursuant to the 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b)(1)(ii), � only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government anticipates award in May of 2025. This is the only Notice that will be published. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is to award a sole source purchase order is not a request for competitive proposals. However, in accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. Responses to this notice shall contain sufficient information to establish the interested parties' bona-fide capabilities for fulfilling the requirements and include: the Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) Number: (Formerly known as the DUNS Number), and the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). All offerors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov. All responses must be received by 5:00 pm MST on, May 5, 2025. Responses must be submitted electronically to Gene Parrill via email at gparrill@usbr.gov. Telephone responses will not be considered.
