Description
The vendor shall provide a Medium Frequency 50kW Mobile Induction Brazing System to the specifications listed below. All components shall be new, and the Induction Brazing System shall be shipped to: US Army Corps of Engineers, ATTN: Mikal Miller, Chief Joseph Dam, HWY 17 and Pearl Hill Road, Bridgeport, WA 98813. The Induction Brazing System shall consist of a 1) Induction Power Supply, 2) Induction Coils, 3) Chiller, and 4) Mobile Cart. Specifications for each component are listed below: Induction Brazing System Specifications Induction Power Supply Specifications: Must be able to provide a minimum of 50kW at 100% continuous duty. Must have electronic impedance matching for maximum power delivered over different induction coil configurations and work piece dimensions. Must be able to accept input power from 480V 3-phase outlets, 60Hz. The system may accept power from multiple circuits, however the current from each individual circuit must not exceed 100A. Must include a handheld brazing tool with pushbutton on/off. Must have flexible power cable between power supply and handheld brazing tool of at least 30 feet. Must have power supply efficiency of a minimum of 90%. Must be able to generate an inductive frequency of at least 35kHz with self-tuning capability for optimizing frequency. Power shall be regulated using a PLC. Induction Coil Specifications: Must include at least three induction coils. One coil shall be a fork-type induction coil designed for brazing copper that is 5.5"" long and 0.75"" wide. One coil shall be a fork-type induction coil designed for brazing copper that is 2.75"" long and 1.25"" wide. One coil shall be a fork-type induction coil, with a 45-degree bend, designed for brazing copper that is 2.75"" long and 1.25"" wide. Chiller Specifications (Must include at least three induction coils): One coil shall be a fork-type induction coil designed for brazing copper that is 5.5"" long and 0.75"" wide. One coil shall be a fork-type induction coil designed for brazing copper that is 2.75"" long and 1.25"" wide. One coil shall be a fork-type induction coil, with a 45-degree bend, designed for brazing copper that is 2.75"" long and 1.25"" wide. Mobile Cart Specifications: Must include a mobile cart that allows the inductive power supply and cooking system to be moved together on the same cart. A system where the inductive power supply moves relative to the cooling system is not acceptable. Mobile cart must allow staff to move brazing system across a flat surface without using other equipment. Cart must have lockable wheels. Cart must have pick points for movement by crane.
