SPECIAL NOTICE: INDUSTRY DAY African Maritime Forces Summit INTRODUCTION: The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center � Sigonella (FLCSI), on behalf of the United States Naval Forces Africa (NAVAF) and U.S. Marine Forces Africa (MARFORAF), is issuing this Industry Day Notification as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources interested and capable of supporting the 2025 African Maritime Forces Summit (AMFS) which will be held in Mauritius, Africa from 22-27 June. BACKGROUND: The United States Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract for (1) conferencing logistics and interpretation support services and (2) transportation services in Mauritius, Africa. The AMFS conference dates are 22-27 June 2025. The period of performance for conferencing logistics and interpretations requirement is 21-27 June 2025, while the period of performance associated with the transportation requirement is anticipated to be 19-27 June 2025. This annual United States Naval Forces Africa (NAVAF) in concert with U.S. Marine Forces Africa (MARFORAF) event, is designed to bring together senior maritime and amphibious leaders from the United States and Africa with participation from North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) countries and major non-NATO allies. This multinational forum is designed to develop amphibious capabilities to promote shared awareness, interoperability, crisis response capabilities, and improve Africa�s maritime domain security. REQUIREMENTS: Conferencing Logistics and Interpretation Support Services: Provision of all conferencing logistics and Arabic, French, English, Portuguese and Spanish simultaneous interpretation services in support of the African Maritime Forces Summit (AMFS) in Mauritius, Africa. This requirement is inclusive of, but not limited to the provision of power capacity, including an uninterrupted power supply, for audio and video support in the main conference room, over-flow conference room, breakout rooms, and identified administrative rooms. Deployable technical assistance is expected. Additionally, simultaneous interpretation services and one-on-one interpretation services will be required. Transportation Services: Provision of all transportation services in support of the African Maritime Forces Summit (AMFS) in Mauritius, Africa. This requirement is inclusive of the transport of approximately 70 support staff and 300 conference attendees from the airport to identified hotels upon arrival to, and departure from the event. AMFS 2025 transportation requirements further include shuttle services and corresponding dispatcher services available 24 hours/day for attendee transportation needs between the three contracted hotels throughout AMFS 2025, which will include pre and post conference transportation needs for the US DoD conference support staff. PUPOSE: The intent of the Industry Day is to attract companies with the requisite capabilities provide (1) event support & logistics services and (2) transportation services in support of the forthcoming African Maritime Forces Summit. INDUSTRY DAY EVENT: The NAVAF/NAVSUP team will be hosting an in-person and virtual Industry Day on 29 April 2025. The Government team envisions the industry day will consist of requirement briefings and one-on-one sessions. Room has been reserved for pre-scheduled one-on-ones with interested contractors. Companies should be prepared to engage in open exchanges with the Government about the forthcoming requirements. Companies not interested in participating in a one-on-one session must identify this during the registration process. Notes: Virtual one-on-one sessions will be available dependent upon technical capabilities. The Government will attempt, but cannot guarantee, the accommodation of company requests for specific timeslots.
