- PLEASE SUBMIT ALL QUESTIONS, CORRESPONDANCE, AND RESPONSES IN WRITING VIA EMAIL TO THE POC OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT BELOW The FAA is seeking qualified sources to provide statements of interest in response to this announcement for the purpose of market research and determination of acquisition competition strategy. Responses resulting from this announcement are intended to be used to determine if this requirement can be set-aside for part, or all, for small businesses or for small economically disadvantaged small business. Interested Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and participants in SBA�s 8(a) program are particularly encouraged to provide statements of interest in this project for set-aside considerations. In addition to small business type, a local area set-aside (vendors whose businesses are based within the local area) may also be considered if adequate interest is received by the FAA from local vendors as a result of this announcement. The FAA currently intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to the lowest price, technically acceptable bidder. Please note that the attached requirement documents are in DRAFT format and are subject to change. Interested vendors are encouraged to provide any questions, comments, or concerns related to the requirements contained in the draft documents attached in their response. Interested vendors are requested to include the following information along with their submission: 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify: - Vendor name, address, POC, and System for Award Management (SAM.gov) Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) - Brief description of your company capabilities and history. - Qualifications and Certifications possessed by your company relevant to this nature of work, or specified in the draft requirement. - Previous contracts and awards recently performed similar in scope and presumed magnitude. - Please clearly state if your company can perform all requirements listed in the SOW. 2. Expected programmatic approach (in-house, teaming, subcontracting, etc.) - Please state how much of this work would be performed directly by your company if awarded a contract. - Please state how much of this work would be performed by a subcontractor if awarded a contract. - Please identify any intended teaming partner companies that might be used if awarded a contract. 3. Rough Order of Magnitude (a ballpark estimate for the FAA�s budgetary planning purposes). -Can be communicated in total dollars (i.e. Est. $100.00 -Can be communicated as a cost range (i.e. Est. $100.00 - $200.00) 4. Feedback on Draft Statement of Work (SOW) - Please identify any missing key information that would prevent your company from fully pricing this work. - Please identify any aspects of this requirement that appear ambiguous or could be better clarified. - Please confirm if the stated schedule information seems unreasonable or unrealistic. Please provide an explanation if so, and best estimate for how long construction phase or any other milestones therein should reasonably take. All responses to this announcement must be received by the closing date/time of this announcement.
