- SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions. The following is attached for you to complete and review: 1.) Buy American Act (BAA) 2.) Reps & Certs 3.) FP Commercial Supplies-Services T&C�s ( August 2023 ) 4.) Quote Required item: Design and production of stable X-ray optics platform consisting of 1 m x 1.1 m, 3 axis (2 x horizontal axes + vertical axis) motorized table on granite base with the following technical specs: 1. The basement needs to be granite table which SLAC provided airpad (the height is 150mm) can be attached. 2. The total height including the airpad is 800mm. 3. The top part consisting of 4 tables (i-iv) needs to have 2(a and b) x motorized horizontal motions and 1 x vertical motion(c). 4. The top table has independent small table(iv) with manual motion along X-ray axis. 5. The top tables (ii-iv) is module, which can be easily separated from the bottom table(i). 6. The bottom table should be 1m x 1.1 m coupled with the motion (a). The middle table(ii) should have the linear rail perpendicular to motion (a) for small table(iv) and motorized axis(b) for the table(iii). 7. Motorized motion (a), (b) and (c) need to have more than +/- 25 mm. 8. Showing the motion resolution, gear reducing ratio and maximum loading capacity. TECHNICAL EVALUATION CRITERIA AS FOLLOWS: 1. Design of the table if satisfying required specifications 2. Granite table 3. Motorized stage capacity Quote is for product only; no on-site services permitted. Source selection will be based on Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Method and best Lead-Time. Please provide a price and lead time quotation by 5/1/2025. Send quote to Jhamieb@SLAC.stanford.edu. Is there any room for additional discount such as for Academic, ICPT, GSA, or Government Institutions? Buy American Act Certification (BAA) applies to awards over $10,000. Representations & Certifications Rider is required. Once completed the Reps and Certs is valid for one year until renewal. If you have already completed one within the year please disregard. Otherwise, please complete and return. All subcontractors are required to register in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov). If possible, please provide a link to your webpage for published price list to substantiate for the prices quoted. The resulting purchase order will be issued on a fixed price basis. SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory Terms and Conditions for Fixed Price Commercial Supplies and Services (Rev. August 2023) will be made a part of the resulting order. Please mark up terms and conditions if you wish to negotiate. No mark ups mean that you accept SLAC Terms and Conditions.
