REQUEST FOR INFORMATION THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFl)/SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE BEING RELEASED PURSUANT TO FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) PART 10: MARKET RESEARCH. This RFI is issued solely for informational, market research, and planning purposes only. It does not constitute an Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Quote (RFQ), or Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ/IFB/RFP in the future. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. In addition, respondents are advised that the United States Government is under no obligation to pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this RFI. At this time, proprietary information is not being requested, and respondents shall refrain from providing proprietary information in response to this RFI. The specifications for this requirement will only be available upon solicitation issuance. Requirement: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed contract to procure a total of seven (7) new electric grease pump stations for utilization at the Bernville Protective Works facility in Bernville, PA. The NAICS Code for this project is 333914 Measuring, Dispensing, and Other Pumping Equipment Manufacturing and the Small Business Size Standard is 750 Employees. Description: Seven (7) grease stations shall be supplied. They shall all be identical, except for the quantity/size of grease injectors. Six (6) grease stations shall be capable of supplying grease to six existing grease tubes (3/8� OD x .035� wall tubing). One (1) grease station shall be capable of supplying grease thru two existing grease 1/2� black iron pipes. All parts, components, and equipment on the grease pump stations shall be of new construction. Use of rebuilt or remanufactured components will be sufficient cause for rejection. Grease Pump Station Specifications: Pump Voltage:110VAC � 240VAC Capable of pumping NLGI No. 2 up to 20 feet Pump discharge: 1/2� single outlet Grease Injector Manifold Inlet: 1/2� NPTF Grease Injector Outlet: 3/8� NPTF or 1/2� NPT (as required) Grease Reservoir Capacity: 16 LB (min) Safety Features: All components shall be secured in a NEMA 4X stainless steel electrical enclosure. The grease station shall be equipped with an internal programmable controller, vent valve, and pressure transducer. It shall also be equipped with a stack light system which indication for Power On, System Pumping, Low Level, and System Fault. The grease system shall have pressure gage, check valves, a reservoir low level indicator, fault detection, and a relief valve with return to reservoir. Base and Mount Requirements: The grease station NEMA 4X enclosures shall be mounted on a welded frame constructed of angle iron with two stanchions to be secured to the floor. The floor mounting base shall be 24� x 13� to match existing mount. The welded frame shall be painted silver and have two lifting eyes for rigging purposes. Spare Parts/Manuals: The contractor shall provide three (3) complete original copies of the operators and parts manuals with the electric grease pump stations. Warranty: The contractor shall supply a warranty for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery to the destination. This warranty shall cover replacement of the electric grease pump stations and/or any repairs due to defective workmanship and/or parts. Standard or overtime labor hour charges, travel costs to and from the facility in Bernville, PA or work area, freight, handling, material charges and any other miscellaneous charges necessary to repair any grease pump station shall be covered under this warranty. If standard factory warranty offers equal coverage, then it shall apply, otherwise the terms and conditions of this clause apply Survey: The Government is issuing this notice to determine a competitive basis. This is not a solicitation, and the items listed herein are subject to change or eliminated from the requirement. This survey is for market research purposes only. Only prospective contractors capable of performing this type of work should respond to this Request for Information. Your response to this survey is requested by 2:00 PM Eastern Time, April 15, 2025.
