- Q1. What is the number of entry points needed for security? During the in-person on-site meeting, it was mentioned that 25 are required. A1. They re 14 entrances needing the system. Q2. What is the priority of each entry to be secured? List in order from top to bottom which has the highest priority to secure first. A2. Order of priority: OGDEN ENTRANCE DAMEN ENTRANCE EMPLOYEE ENTRANCE TAYLOR DOCK ER AMBULANCE BAY ENTRANCE MOBILE CT SCAN ENTRANCE (TAYLOR DOCK) POLK STREET DOCK NEW WAREHOUSE ENTRANCE POLK DOCK TAYLOR STREET DOCK ENTRANCE MED PARK GARAGE MAIN EXIT/ENTRANCE NORTHEAST STAIRWELL EXIT (NEAR EMPLOYEE ENTRANCE) MED PARK SOUTHEAST TAYLOR EXIT TEMP. BLDG. REAR ENTRANCE DAMEN ST. WELLNESS CENTER HEALING GARDEN GATE ENTRANCE TAYLOR OLD ENTRANCE PEDESTRIAN GATE Q3. Is a building permit required? A4. Awarded Contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits Q5. What are acceptable raceways to run cable:� No Raceway, Conduit, Wiremold, etc. A5. J Hooks and Raceways Q6. Does the hospital have a standard for which brand of cable is used?� If so, what brand? A6. No Q7. Does the hospital have a cable color standard? A7. Blue Q8. Will parking be provided for workers? A8. No parking provided Q9. Can entrances be out of service when work is being performed? A9. Some entrances will have to be done not during busy hours ie. Damen / Ogden main entrances and warehouse/dock entrances. Q10. Does the current camera server have room for an additional 15-20 cameras?� Does it need additional licenses? A10. Per Starboard there is room for additional cameras, but we have no additional licenses. Q11. From the site survey on 3/18, it was communicated that the VA s preference is to install 2x manned concealed weapons detection units at the 2x Main Entrances & somewhere around 8-9 un-manned concealed weapons detections at various locations. Please CONFIRM the total number of manned and un-manned locations required? A11. There are no manned locations required Q12. Please confirm the VMS manufacturer (and specific software release)? If Milestone, please provide the Milestone Software License Code (SLC). A12. More to follow . Q13. Please confirm the manufacturer of the Access Control System (and specific software release)? A13.
