- Performance Work Statement (PWS) Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Chiller #1 Vane Motor Replacement (Brief Scope of Work) � PURPOSE Veterans Affairs has a requirement for Chiller #1 Vane Motor Replacement services at the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System (OKCVAHCS). Services are to be performed in accordance with this PWS and to OEM standards, with the intent of ensuring the equipment operates as the original manufacturer intended, uninterrupted (95% uptime), in a cost-effective, efficient manner, contributing to the VA Mission. This is a non-personal services contract. The Contractor, its employees, agents and subcontractors shall not be considered VA employees for any purpose of fulfilling the SOW and shall be considered employees of the Contractor. C&A requirements do not apply, and a Security Accreditation Package is not required. LOCATION: Oklahoma City VA Health Care System (OKC VAHCS) 921 NE 13th St. Oklahoma City, OK 73104 � TASKS AND REQUIREMENTS: This project is to remove the vane motor from the chiller replace and calibrate vanes. Check oil in the sump and fill to manufacture specs. Start the chiller and check the operation. The contractor is fully responsible for verifying and validating all information contained within this statement of work. The contractor must fully evaluate the condition of the existing structures and verify the current condition of the project site. All measurements/quantities provided in this document are approximate and are to be used for reference only. The contractor will be responsible for taking on-site measurements and verifying all quantities and distances. All materials/fasteners/etc. must be new and provided by the contractor unless otherwise specified. The contractor shall abide by all Safety, Security and Infection Control Policies and Procedures of the Oklahoma City VA HCS. VA facilities are tobacco-free. No smoking is permitted on VA property. The contractor is responsible for their subcontractor s compliance with this policy. All work must conform to, and comply with, the latest edition/version of ALL applicable VA, federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, codes, and standards. The contractor shall provide supervision, manpower, and materials to remove the existing vane motor check sump oil levels and start the chiller and chiller operation. Contractor shall remove the vane motor replace the motor and re-calibrate. Contractor shall check the sump oil level and fill per manufacturer specs. Contractor shall start chiller and check operation. Contractor shall dispose of any trash or debris they generate during the duration of the performance period and completion of the project. Clean up the area after project completion and contact COR for final inspection. Performance Period: 30 days IMPORTANT NOTE: This Sources Sought is for information only (to determine the socioeconomic status of interested companies). No award will be made off of this posting. LIMITATIONS OF SUBCONTRACTING: The Limitations of Subcontracting may or may not apply to a resulting solicitation from this Market Research. Vendors are advised to familiarize themselves with Federal Acquisition Regulation parts 19.505(a)(2) and 19.505(b)(1) as it pertains to subcontracting limitations. Vendors are also advised to familiarize themselves with 13 CFR 125.6 and the penalties described in this regulation.
