Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is requesting information from interested parties on their capabilities to produce and sustain the 57-millimeter (mm) Mark (MK) 110 Gun Mount (GM). The MK 110 GM is a component of the MK 48 Gun Weapon System (GWS). Interested parties shall be able to meet the minimum requirements to manufacture, repair, and maintain the MK 110 GM. The Government has limited rights to design drawings and the technical data package. Responses to this Request for Information notice shall be UNCLASSIFIED and shall not exceed twenty (20) pages in length. Responses shall be composed using Times New Roman, 10-pt font, one (1) inch margins, and submitted in Microsoft Word 2010 or searchable Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). Each submission shall be electronic (virus-scanned) and submitted via email to the Government Points of Contact listed below. Responses that do not demonstrate an ability to perform the requirements will not be considered. Interested parties capable of performing these requirements shall respond to this RFI with the following information: 1. Cover Page Provide the following information: company name address Business Size status and representation Unique Entity Identifier (UEID) CAGE code tax identification number (TIN) designated point(s) of contact name(s) phone number(s) e-mail address(es) 2. Capability to perform Your response shall address your firm�s ability to provide the following requirements: Provide design drawings that meet compatibility standards with the current design and TDP Provide documentation to develop and manage services necessary to support the MK 110 GM including but not limited to engineering drawings, technical data packages, provisioning data packages, and technical manual development and production Provide logistical components and overhaul/spare parts as required to maintain up to date configuration of equipment and associated documentation Provide the necessary services to conduct technical assistance and on-site repairs for the MK 110 GM Provide labor necessary to install, checkout, and test systems, engineering change kits to the MK 110 GM and equipment Provide installation, testing, training and storage (if necessary) for the MK 110 GM and associated equipment Subcontracting plans Do you intend to subcontract any portion of the work? If so, please provide estimated percentage breakdowns related to subcontract efforts 3. Facility/Workload Forecasting Address how your facility/facilities floor space and machining capabilities are sufficient to perform these requirements within your current and future workload This RFI is issued for informational and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. As such, the Government will not reimburse any costs associated with responding to this notice. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to meet the requirement. Any information submitted by respondents is strictly voluntary. Respondents should properly mark their responses with the appropriate restrictive markings. Information that is proprietary or competition-sensitive may be protected from disclosure under the Public Records Law only if properly labeled as such. Responsive information received on how your firm meets the requirements will be considered. It should be noted that merely expressing interest (to include any response generated by artificial intelligence) and/or failing to demonstrate your firm�s ability to meet the requirements identified above will not be considered. The Government may choose not to respond to specific questions or comments submitted in response to this RFI notice or information provided as a result of this RFI. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this notice. The information obtained from submitted responses may be used in the development of an acquisition strategy and future solicitation. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced separately on sam.gov and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation separately from the response to this RFI. Submission of a response to this notice does not constitute a request to be added to a bidders list or to receive a copy of a solicitation.
