Description
IN The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 on behalf of Wake VA outpatient clinic is conducting Market Research through this sources sought notice to help determine the availability of qualified Businesses, capable of providing Automatic external defibrillator that meets, but not limited to, the following: Automatic external defibrillator Utilizes a single pair of disposable electrodes to monitor the ECG and deliver the defibrillator discharge Evaluates electrode connection and patient ECG to determine if defibrillation is required. Shockable Rhythms: Ventricular Fibrillation with average amplitude > 100 microvolts Complex ventricular tachycardia with rates greater than 150 BPM for adults, 200 BPM for pediatrics Electrically isolated patient connections Patient Impedance measurement range: 0 to 300 ohms User Replaceable Battery Configurable automatic self-test Semi-automatic and fully automatic defibrillation protocol LCD Display Battery health / self test indicator Rectilinear Biphasic Wave form Charge time <10 sec Charge Hold Time: 30 seconds CPR: Metronome Rate Variable; 60 to 100CPM Must include Battery, Carrying case 9-inch Standard Wall Cabinet -approximate dimensions 17,5"" W x 9"" D x 17.5""H Approximate Exterior Dimensions (D x W x H): 11.5"" x 9.5"" x 5.25"" Portable defibrillator-monitor-recorder. Integral unit system operable from self-contained rechargeable batteries. ECG may be viewed through paddles or patient cable. A copy of its capabilities statement. Failure to provide the above information may result in the potential offeror being considered incapable of meeting the VA s needs. If the contractor can provide the above items, the contractor shall provide a letter from the manufacturer stating they are an authorized distributor/licenser of their products. Failure to submit an authorized distributor letter shall result in the product(s) potentially offered to be considered grey market and shall not be considered capable of meeting the VA s needs. The capability statements received from this market research are for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research, and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research.
