Description
Request for Information/Sources Sought Publications Accessibility The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) is conducting market research and identifying, as potential sources, companies that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements similar to the attached draft Scope of Work. This is a new requirement. There is no incumbent contractor performing these services for the agency. Companies are hereby advised that this is not a request for proposals and no contract will be awarded as a result of this Notice. Companies responding to this request are advised that participation does not ensure opportunities for participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The government will not reimburse any company or individual for any expenses associated with preparation for or participation in this request for information. The agency is contemplating a labor-hour contract. The government has not finalized an acquisition strategy for this requirement. Instructions The attachment is a description of the requirement and includes questions about the scope and a Contractor Capability Survey, which allows substantiation of your companys capability. If, after reviewing these documents, you desire to participate in the market research, you should provide documentation that supports your companys capability in meeting these requirements. Failure to provide adequate documentation may prevent the government from being able to adequately assess your capabilities. If you lack sufficient experience in a particular area, submissions are still encouraged, but please provide details explaining how you would overcome the lack of experience/capabilities prior to a contract award in order to perform that portion of the requirement (i.e., teaming, subcontracting, etc.). Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this Market Research. Questions relative to this market research should be addressed via email to Caryn Thiboheim at caryn.thiboheim@cbo.gov. Capability Information: This section should include a brief description of experience in providing support for requirements similar to the attached PWS in both size and magnitude. The capability package must be clear, concise, and complete. The government is under no obligation to provide feedback to the company or to contact the company for clarification of any information submitted in response to this request. If your company is interested, e-mail your responses to caryn.thiboheim@cbo.gov by the close of business on March 14, 2025. Direct and succinct responses are preferred. Marketing materials are considered an insufficient response. If additional time is necessary for your company to provide a response, please reach out to Caryn Thiboheim (caryn.thiboheim@cbo.gov) to request an extension.
