- 1. Amendment 0001 to solicitation 1333MK25Q0043 is to provide answer to questions from vendors: Question 1. What quantity of end of aisle protectors do they need? Answer 1: 11x 42"". Question 2. I counted qty 4 � 84� (42� + 42�) end of aisle protectors and qty 4 � 42� end of aisle protectors, Is this the correct amount? Answer 2. No, we will need 11x 42"" end of aisle protectors. Question 3. What quantity of column protectors do they need? Answer 3. 43x. Question 4. I counted qty 20 column protectors needed� is this right? Answer 4. No, 43x. Question 5. What height column protectors do you want? Answer 5. No less than 12"". Question 6. Is 16� okay or do they want more or less? Answer 6. 16"" is good. Question 7. What is the maximum allowable time between the first and second installation phases? Answer 7. A week max, 2 days min. Question 8. What are the required dimensions for the spacers between the racks? Answer 8. 12"" spacers between racks. Question 9. Does the Buy American Act apply to this solicitation? Answer 9. Yes Question 10. Should the wage determination for installers follow the Service Contract Act or the Davis-Bacon Act? Answer 10. According to FAR 2.101 Supplies: Supplies means all property except land or interest in land. It includes (but is not limited to) public works, buildings, and facilities; ships, floating equipment, and vessels of every character, type, and description, together with parts and accessories; aircraft and aircraft parts, accessories, and equipment; machine tools; and the alteration or installation of any of the foregoing. CLIN DESCRIPTION QUANTITY UNIT PRICE TOTAL PRICE CLIN 0001 PROVIDE WAREHOUSE SHELVING AND INSTALLATION PER ATTACHED STATEMENT OF NEED DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION ASAP: PLACE OF DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION: MARINE OPERATIONS CENTER - PACIFIC ISLANDS 1897 RANGER LOOP BUILDING 184 HONOLULU, HI 96818 THE GOVERNMENT WILL AWARD A FIRM FIXED PRICE CONTRACT BASED ON BEST VALUE TO THE GOVERNMENT: 1. VENDOR PAST EXPERIENCE/PAST PERFORMANCE, 2. AVAILABILITY AND 3. PRICE.
