Description
This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24225B0018, Project Number 620-15-111 Replace fused and obsolete electrical panels campus wide at the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System, Montrose Campus, 2094 Albany Post Road, Montrose, New York 10548. This shall be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 238210 and has a size standard of $19 Million. The Magnitude of Construction for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Scope of Work: The scope of work shall generally consist of, but not limited to the following: The Contractor will furnish all new materials, equipment, supervision, and labor necessary to accomplish the work as described in the contract documents and any amendments issued prior to the Bid opening for Project 620-15-111, Replace fused and Obsolete Electrical panels at Montrose Campus of the Hudson Valley Health Care System, New York. This project includes electrical panels and associated feeders and branch circuit wiring have been identified as antiquated and in need of replacement. Fuse panels are no longer VA compliant nor are panels located in hallways and stairwells. In addition to fused panels needing replacement, aluminum wiring is no longer VA compliant and requires identification and replacement with copper. This project will correct safety deficiencies thereby enhancing patient care with a more reliable and robust power distribution network. The objectives are as follows: Relocate hallway and electrical fused panels to dedicated electrical room or secured location. Replacement of main feed and branch circuit wiring. Replacement of fuse panels with circuit breaker panels. Scope of Work for the Base Bid includes the following description of work, and as defined in the contract documents but not limited to the following: The following panelboards shall be replaced throughout Buildings 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, and 14: Building 1; Panel ID B-1-1-112 Building 3; Panel ID B-3-G-13-L Building 3; Panel ID B-3-G-7 Building 3; Panel ID B-3-G-8A-F Building 4; Panel ID B-4-G-9A-X Building 4; Panel ID B-4-G-7-A Building 5; Panel ID B-5-G-5/7 Building 6; Panel ID B-6-G-13 Building 6; Panel ID B-6-G-X-9 Building 7; Panel ID B-7-G-15 Building 7; Panel ID B-7-G-X-9 Building 7; Panel ID B-7-G-8A Building 7; Panel ID B-7-G-8 Building 12; Panel ID B-12-G-8A-X Building 14; Panel ID B-14-G-17-G Building 14; Panel ID B-14-G-12B-E-R Building 14; Panel ID B-14-G-12B-X-L Building 14; Panel ID B-14-G-9-A The noted panelboards under this scope of work are to be relocated to suitable locations meeting NEC requirements and as defined by this project drawings and specifications. The associated panelboard circuits shall be redirected to the new panelboard location where they are to be restored to their original state. All conduit penetrations thru masonry walls shall utilize steel sleeves. Project Completion: 300 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.sam.gov. The solicitation will be released on or about February 28, 2025. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all responses/submissions to the solicitation to be posted later shall be emailed. Hard copy or faxed bids will not be accepted. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in www.sam.gov , www.dnb.com (Duns and Bradstreet)and be registered and verified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in www.veterans.certify.sba.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
