Description
Introduction: This is a notice for Industry Day to be held on March 11, 2025, between 8:30am � 9:30am Pacific Time (PT) with individual breakout sessions (TBD see below) virtually via Teams. This notice is issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District, for Elevator Maintenance Services. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal, Invitation for Bid, or Request for Quotation, and it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to enter into a contract. Furthermore, responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with Industry Day attendance or otherwise responding to this notice. Background and Description The purpose of the acquisition is to procure elevator maintenance services for six operating projects: Little Goose Lock and Dam, Lower Granite Lock and Dam, Lower Monumental Lock and Dam, McNary Lock and Dam, Ice Harbor Lock and Dam, and Dworshak Dam located throughout Walla Walla District. The anticipated tasks for this project include, but are not limited to the following: Assessment Site Visit - The Contractor should verify site conditions and look for deficiencies and non-compliances to be noted and submitted as a maintenance report. Submittals Certificate(s) of Insurance. Certificates showing the current State of Washington or Oregon Elevator Journeyman License, inspection and maintenance of elevators, safety training covering Safe Work Practices, Personal Protective Equipment, Proper House Keeping and Fire Protection. The qualifications of each Contractor performing work. The name, address and telephone number(s) (not to exceed three) where Contractor�s supervisor can be reached. A list of all employees that will be working on this contract. Detailed Quality Control Plan and Inspection Checklist. In draft form, a Maintenance and Inspection Schedule including any suggested modifications which may be in the interest of practicality, efficiency, economy or effective use of time, including any deficiencies, or items not up to code with elevators inspection schedule. List of any non-US citizens requiring access to the Walla Walla District HQ building. Emergency Egress Procedure � Written procedure for the removal of people from an elevator from a) the elevator stuck at a floor, and b) the elevator stuck between floors. A procedure shall be prepared for each elevator, and the appropriate electrical contacts shall be marked to correlate to the written procedure. Maintenance schedules, Maintenance Control Plan (MCP), and Maintenance Inspections. Monthly Routine Maintenance as defined in the ASME A17.1 and the Five-Year Full Load Testing and Inspection. Nonroutine Maintenance as defined in ASME A17.1 to include repair and replacement and emergency call-out service. The purpose of the Industry Day is to identify interested and qualified firms capable of providing the elevator maintenance described above at the specified locations. The event will allow attendees to ask questions, voice concerns, and provide feedback to the Government. Registration for participating in the Industry Day is required. Please see �Registration� below for Instructions. Registration To register, please submit requested information below electronically to Victoria Conway at Victoria.l.conway@usace.army.mil no later than 2:00 pm PT, March 3rd, 2025. The email Subject must be marked with your company name followed by �Industry Day, Elevator Maintenance Services.� All documents should be in Microsoft Word Format or Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). 1. The Cover Sheet should include a non-binding statement of interest and must indicate if your firm intends to participate virtually and must include: - Company name, address, and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code or Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). - Name of attendees (limit to four) and contact information for each, including telephone numbers and e-mail addresses. 2. Brief description of the company; years in business; size of company (small business or other than small business for NAICS 561210 � Facilities Support Services); and socioeconomic status. 3. Capability statement and companies are encouraged to provide further details of your firm�s experience with elevator maintenance services. 4. Specify if attending the open forum and/or requesting a one-on-one session. Agenda for the Industry Day: 8:30am � 9:30am PT, March 11, 2025, via Teams for all attendees: USACE Introduction. USACE Slide Presentation. Questions. The following times slots are for individual company breakout sessions (one-on-ones). These meetings will be held privately between USACE multi-functional team and interested firms. Please limit the number of company representatives to no more than four attendees to facilitate effective one-on-one dialogues. Marketing/capability briefings are not authorized during the one-on-one sessions.
