- OPPORTUNITIES DESCRIPTION Construction Service for Project No. 593-23-150, Repair Safety Fire WON-Doors at VAMC North Las Vegas, NV. This is a pre-solicitation announcement only. Solicitation documents will be available on or about May 29, 2024. The solicitation will contain all necessary proposal instruction. Proposals will only be requested and accepted from contractors who were awarded a Veterans Integrated Service Network 21 (VISN 21) Multiple-Award Construction Contract (MACC) from Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $45M. IAW VAAR 836.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects is anticipated between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. Questions regarding this pre-solicitation must be sent in writing to christopher.whipple@va.gov Department of Veteran Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 will be issuing a request for proposal for a general construction contractor to provide professional construction services and expertise to replace the existing dilapidated and discontinued accordion fire doors at nine (9) locations throughout VA Medical Center Building #1. These doors will be connected to existing fire alarm system and electrical power supply. Additionally, the structural support will be modified to meet the seismic requirements. Work must include, but not limited to the following: The Contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, administrative support, and any necessary professional engineering services required for the construction to Repair Safety Fire WON-Doors IAW the SOW. The duration of this project is approximately 250 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued.
